The SOCK campaign is all about maintaining the very best education for students in and around Strood, where we live.  We are a group of parents with children currently at Chapter School.

In September we were dismayed to find out that the Local Authority were planning to close down Chapter School in order to create a new Academy.  Although we recognise the need for change due to local issues; the thought of the wonderful Chapter family being destroyed forever, and of the high standards of Chapter School becoming history, have motivated us to start this campaign.  We believe that the current, proven, management of Chapter School should lead any future changes in the education of all of the local students.
